A virtual auction
to benefit Les impatients

Printemps Impatients will be accepting online bids until Friday, May 29

Beginning Thursday, May 14 at 8 am, the spring season takes on new colours as Les Impatients launches their Printemps Impatients fundraising campaign, a virtual silent auction featuring works from private collections. The general public will be able to place bids until Friday, May 29 at 8 pm on 75 artworks of different genres and price points by visiting MaCause.com

A new benefit event, Les Impatients established Printemps Impatients in response to the exceptional situation facing Quebec and the economic impact on its organizations. Until they can resume hosting their Parle-moi d’amour annual fundraising events, Les Impatients will be adopting this new formula. Not only is this the first time that they will be hosting a virtual event, but more importantly, it is also the first time that they are organizing an auction focused entirely on donations from collectors.

From contemporary to street art, from painting to engraving and sculpture, the sale will feature an eclectic mix of styles and mediums.

Many collectors support Les Impatients by donating artworks previously sold by the organization during fundraising events including their well-known Parle-moi d’amour events. The organization has accumulated hundreds of works this way. The 75 works that will be auctioned were selected among them.

From contemporary to street art, from painting to engraving and sculpture, the sale will feature an eclectic mix of styles and mediums. Among the artists, you will find works by Luc Béland, Jason Botkin, Sylvain Bouthillette, Yehouda Chaki, Stanley Cosgrove, Jean-Sébastien Denis, Ron English, Pierre Gauvreau, Michel Goulet, Alain Laframboise, Georges Shedd A.W.S. and Tobie Steinhouse.

All profits from the sale will serve to maintain the activities of the organization. Given the recent implementation of sanitary measures, the artists running the workshops have maintained contact with their participants to ensure that art continues to benefit mental health while promoting a greater sense of community.

During this unprecedented time of crisis, mental health is a major issue that must be acknowledged. In addition to placing bids, the general public will also be able to donate to the organization through the MaCause.com platform.
